If sport betting is just a small hobby, it shouldn’t hurt to take a step back and look at what you have been doing. Write down what bets you have made. Maybe this will help you know what you’ve done wrong in the last few bets. Also you could try looking at stats from players and games.

If you don’t have a logbook or anything like it, start one, a small note book will work. This way you won’t have to remember everything that you’ve found out, from keeping scores of older games to player information.

If you still decide it’s time stop betting altogether then you might want to stay away from the games of your choice for a little while. After some time watching a game it might be more enjoyable if you know that you don’t have too much money riding on the outcome.

Most of all someone will not be able to make you stop betting. This will have to be a very large commitment to decide on doing. If you need a little more help, give yourself goals if that helps. Join a support group there are lots of things that can help you if you decide that it’s time to quit.

If you’re still not sure, the best thing to do is to slow down on your betting. Step back and look at what you’ve done for the last few years or months and decide if this is something that you want to continue to do.
